Wow.
Most amazing weekend I’ve ever experienced.
I’m exhausted, injured, sunburnt, sleep deprived, constipated, blistered, aching, and I can’t get the grin off my face.
Can’t really write about it (it’ll probably be 2 epic posts) AND I have a bajillion photos (and courtesy of the Director and a new credit on IMDB).
Well, it looks like we’re in a holding pattern, waiting to see what Mother Nature will do. The game plan seems to be to try and film what we can on Saturday and race through the rest of the shoot on Sunday and Monday. And good ol’ Ernesto will keep us guessing throughout the weekend.
The old adage of being on a set is ‘hurry up and wait’, I suspect this will be the case here, even more so. We’ll need to be ready to roll cameras at a moment’s notice, and be able to break everything down if it starts raining again. And if we decide to film in the rain, some serious MacGuyvering skills will be needed to keep continuity.
But, hey, why do anything simple when we can do it half-assed, right?
